The Director

Minw Learning was established in 2011 by Tchaas Minw, Ed.S., an educational specialist and former public and private school educator of 10 years. 

Initially offering tutorial services for students enrolled in schools serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade, Mr. Minw began to offer monthly packages for families seeking regularly scheduled appointments with varying levels of frequency. 

After the first full academic year in service, he began Summer Seed 2012— a summer program for academic enrichment and remediation, primarily serving students in Dekalb County.  Over the next two years, Mr. Minw began to understand that his classroom students needed support that extended beyond the immediate subject matter discipline. 

Moreover, he recognized a growing need for direct instruction in the skills of being a student. As a result, Mr. Minw began informally offering Academic Coaching while also functioning as an educational consultant.  In 2016, Minw Learning began offering Academic Coaching packages for its current tutorial clients as demand increased for the more intensive services from their most active families.
